This page is all about what is good and bad for a pussy cat to eat. I have let Carrie add some comments to this page as she is an expert on diet, her dad was a scientist!

Food is a big part in anybodys life, even humans who eat so much disgusting stuff, it is surprising that they can taste anything anymore. Cracker once ate something called "chilli", which was an evil green looking thing. It was so hot, he said it was like sticking your tongue in the big hpt flamy yellow thing in the lounge, and he couldn't taste anything for a week!!! Cracker knows not to eat anything like that now and he has told me not to eat anything which looks remotely like it may be a vicious vegetable. I always say that you know where you are with meat and Snowdrop, Sweep and Cracker all agree with me.

Us pussy cats need to eat meat to live. If we just eat vegetables we will die. This is because there is a protein which is only found in meats which we need in our diets. If your human insists on feeding you only vegetables, they are stupid so bite them until they get the idea that you like the taste of real meat!

It is very true that pussy cats like milk and sometimes some of us (Snowdrop!) aren't strong willed enough to ignore a nice plate of creamy milk. BUT, we can't digest milk very easily, and it will make us very poorly if humans insist on giving us milk and we drink it. My tip to you is to get your humans to buy you some cimicat as this is very yummy and it won't make you poorly. As well as that, my dad told me where milk comes from. Now I'm not averse to eating cows whole, but I don't like the idea of drinking cow juice!

Salt is another thing that us pussy cats don't need in our diet. Because humans can't taste anything (obviously!) they sprinkle white stuff all over their dinners. We shouldn't have too much salt in our diet so make sure that your humans don't give you anything with extra salt in it. This includes things like Tuna in BRINE.

Thank you Carrie, now that Carrie has told you what you shouldn't be eating, I'm going to tell you what you should be eating. First of all, biscuits. Us pussy cats (most of us anyway Carrie) like pussy cat biscuits, proper biscuits mind, like Hills Science plan. These are the sort of bisuicts that we can live on healthily without anything else. Now, these biscuits come in a variety of flavours and styles, but we all eat Hills Kitten Growth apart from Carrie, who plays with them, but won't eat them and she eats the Hills Kitten Growth tinned food.

In addition to biscuits, you should make your pet buy you lots of meat we all like tuna but it has to be tuna in spring water and not brine. In addition to this we like beef. We like steak best of all, but we are quite happy with brisket as long as it is cut up small enough. Carrie is the only exception here, and she likes to kill her food before she eats it, and the bigger the better! We all love chicken.

Now our pets cook things, and the same is true for us pussy cats, we do like cooked food, but out owners don't always seem to take any notice. We should have the following things cooked: Chicken, fish, pork. And we can have these raw: rabbit, beef and lamb.
